We founded Urathy with a vision: to create jewelry with soul & bold handmade pieces that are ethically made, rooted in African culture, and designed to make a statement.

What Urathy means
The name Urathy means “to inherit” and that word holds weight.
It’s about creating pieces that carry meaning far into the future. Our jewelry is made to be worn today and passed down from generation to generation, beyond fashion seasons or beyond gender.

We design our pieces in close collaboration with skilled suppliers and artisans who bring our creative vision to life. Additionally, we carefully handpick select jewelry items across East Africa that align with our commitment to sustainability, craftsmanship, and uniqueness.
Each of our pieces is selected with care from the sculptural Zuba necklace to the commanding Azizi ring and the flowing lines of the Serengeti earrings. They are inspired by the natural beauty of Africa, from its languages to its landscapes.
